They oversee the integration of various TENSOR technologies into a unified platform and lead the development of the DSS. Their extensive experience and international presence, with over 2,800 professionals in 13 countries, make them well-equipped to manage such a complex and large-scale project.
CERTH Technical Coordination The Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH) is a leading research centre in Greece. As the Technical Coordinator for TENSOR, CERTH manages the strategic development and implementation of technological innovations. They aim to create the first European Biometric Dataspace, facilitating collaboration across borders and domains.
Phonexia Voice Biometrics Expert Phonexia specializes in speech technologies and machine learning, offering solutions for speaker identification, speech transcription, and keyword spotting. In TENSOR, Phonexia provides advanced voice biometrics technologies, leveraging over a decade of experience in integrating and deploying speech technology. This expertise is crucial for accurately identifying and analysing voice data within the project.
Idemia Biometric Technology Provider IDEMIA Identity & Security Germany AG, a subsidiary of the global IDEMIA corporation, develops biometric technologies and solutions, including 2D face recognition. In TENSOR, they enhance person re-identification across videos using their state-of-the-art biometric technology. Their “Augmented Vision” video analysis platform is integrated into the TENSOR framework to improve forensic analysis and surveillance capabilities.
T3K.AI AI and Digital Forensics Specialist T3K.AI focuses on AI solutions for digital forensics, developing tools for automated analysis of mass data. Their LEAP platform provides high-speed, automated analysis and reporting of forensic images and other digital data. In TENSOR, T3K.AI’s technology aids in simplifying and speeding up digital forensic investigations, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of data analysis.
Fujitsu Security and Privacy Specialist Fujitsu brings its expertise in security-and-privacy-by-design architecture and behavioural biometric technologies to the TENSOR project. They contribute to the project’s standardization activities, ensuring that the solutions developed are secure, reliable, and adhere to international standards. Eticas Ethics and Privacy Advocate Eticas Tech ensures that the technologies developed within TENSOR adhere to ethical standards and respect privacy. Zitis Technical Expertise and Pilot Management The Central Office for Information Technology in the Security Sector (ZITiS) supports German security authorities by providing technical expertise in digital forensics, lawful interception, and cryptanalysis. In TENSOR, ZITiS plans and manages pilots, defines scenarios for demonstration and validation, and contributes to user needs and requirements.
Delft University of Technology Computational Privacy and Cryptography Delft University of Technology (DUT) is a top-ranked technological university in the Netherlands. In TENSOR, DUT provides expertise in computational privacy and applied cryptography. Their advanced methods for encryption and data recovery are critical for ensuring the secure sharing of biometric data.
FORTH-ICS Large-scale Biometric Data Indexing The Institute of Computer Science (ICS) at FORTH specializes in high-quality research and development in information and communication technologies. In TENSOR, FORTH-ICS delivers the “Large-scale Biometric Data Indexing” component, essential for efficient data indexing and searching during pilot activities.
Ianus Technologies Innovation Management and Exploitation IANUS Technologies specializes in research, security, and project management. As the Innovation Manager for TENSOR, they oversee knowledge management, exploitation plans, and support partners in developing business plans. Polícia Judiciária End-User and Pilot Leader Polícia Judiciária (PJ) leads the pilot demonstrations and validates the TENSOR framework in operational environments. PJ’s involvement ensures the solutions meet law enforcement needs and enhances crime investigation capabilities in Portugal.
Moldova General Police Inspectorate End-User and Pilot Participant The General Police Inspectorate ensures public order and security in Moldova. As an end-user in TENSOR, they provide operational needs and requirements, participate in pilot demonstrations, and help validate the TENSOR framework through real-world scenarios.
Centre of Excellence in Terrorism, Resilience, Intelligence and Organised Crime Research (CENTRIC) Research and Pilot Implementation CENTRIC, a multidisciplinary research center at Sheffield Hallam University, collaborates with various stakeholders to address security challenges.
